What does a Test Engineer do at Frollo?

Join Frollo’s expanding Engineering team as a Test Engineer and help drive the quality of Australia’s most trusted mortgage lending solutions. Your expertise will be crucial in ensuring our digital platforms meet the highest standards for reliability, security, and user experience. This role is perfect for a detail-oriented individual with a passion for software testing, automation, and continuous quality improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, execute, and maintain comprehensive test plans and test cases for web-based SaaS products.
• Design and implement automated test scripts across functional, regression, and integration testing suites.
• Collaborate closely with developers, business analysts, and product teams to clarify requirements and deliver high-quality releases.
• Identify, document, and track defects, working with development teams to drive timely resolution.
• Champion continuous improvement in testing techniques, frameworks, and processes is at the forefront of quality initiatives.
• Contribute to building a culture of knowledge sharing and support the onboarding of new team members.

Essential Skills & Experience:

• 2+ years of Software Testing experience
• IT Testing project experience & understanding of the SDLC and integration projects.
• Understanding of Scrum and Incremental/Iterative Software Delivery methodology.
• Test planning & test preparation skills in writing test scenarios & cases.
• Strong test execution skills, in running test cases and logging defects where applicable.
• Experience & knowledge working with any Test Tools in the areas of Test Management, Mobile Testing, API testing, Load Testing
• Expertise in test status reporting, test documentation & knowledge sharing
• Experience in software testing for API driven applications and web technology.
