Connect – Talent Community Consent Connect consent
NextGen.Net Pty Ltd (NextGen) uses Teamtailor’s “Connect” feature to run our talent community. By signing up, you can be considered for roles in the future, even if you have not applied for a specific position. Participation in Connect is voluntary and separate from applying for a particular job.
I give my explicit, informed consent to the following:
Purpose and collection – NextGen collecting and storing my personal information (including my contact details, résumé, and any information I provide) for the purpose of contacting me about current or future job opportunities outside of a specific application
AI-enabled services – NextGen using Teamtailor’s “Co-pilot” AI recruitment tools, which incorporate artificial intelligence via OpenAI’s Enterprise API, to help match my skills and experience with suitable job opportunities. Final hiring decisions will always be made by NextGen’s recruitment staff.
Overseas disclosure – Some of my personal information will be disclosed to Teamtailor and OpenAI, which may be located outside Australia (including the United States and other countries). These organisations are not subject to the Australian Privacy Act 1988 (Cth). I acknowledge that if I consent to this disclosure:
- NextGen will not be accountable under the Privacy Act for any acts or practices of those overseas recipients; and
- I will not be able to seek redress under the Privacy Act if those recipients mishandle my personal information.
Data retention and security – NextGen will retain my personal information in Connect for up to 12 months, unless I withdraw consent earlier. We apply technical and organisational measures to protect personal information.
Destruction/de-identification – At the end of the retention period, or earlier if I withdraw consent, my personal information will be securely destroyed or permanently de-identified (subject to legal obligations).
Access, correction and withdrawal – I may request access to or correction of my personal information, or withdraw my consent to remain in Connect, at any time by contacting jobs@nextgen.net
We take reasonable steps to ensure my information is accurate, up-to-date and complete; I should notify NextGen if my details change.
By selecting “I consent” below, I give NextGen my explicit, informed consent to collect, use, disclose, store, retain and ultimately destroy/de-identify my personal information for the purposes of NextGen’s talent community, delivered via Teamtailor’s Connect feature, as described above.
